Today skype released an iPad-optimized version of their app. However, this new shouldn’t be too surprising, since the iPad got a camera; it was likely that we’d see some version built especially for the bigger tablet. According to Skype VP of Consumer and Product Design Rick Osterloh, it’s a solid release for the company, and yet another step out onto mobile devices for one of the premiere communication networks online. Nintendo is getting some heat from its competitors Sony Ps3 and Microsoft Xbox 360, and Square Enix’s President, Yoichi Wada, believes the successor to Wii will be released in 2011 featuring HD and a new motion controller. All sounds good but releasing a HD device in 2011 may sound a big step for Wii as most of games available on Wii are not HD ready as of now, but when comparing the HD feature on Sony PS3 and Xbox 360, I believe it will be little late for Nintendo to gather the lime light.
