easy-paisa The easypaisa service is now getting more popular. Call n’ Speak a company that provides Phone to PC service for Pakistanis living abroad has announced that it will accept payments through easypaisa. The company offers calling services in USA, Islamabad and Lahore. Calls can be received on PC as well as mobile phone.

As of now only Telenor customers will be able to avail this facility. Other options for making payments include Western Union transfers, Google Checkout and Moneybookers. To avail the service users need to register an account first, upon which they buy a number. This is followed by a trial call and after necessary verification money transfers can be completed.

This is a really good facility for users. Actually all these services are pre-paid and this is the best part, because it can be used by virtually anywhere like a Debit Card. What I am particularly interested in is places like convenience stores, gas stations and restaurants. Let’s hope this thing catches on.

More info is available at the Call n’ speak website. Be sure to read the How it Works, FAQs and pricing details before signing up.

easy-paisa The much awaited and first of its kind service easypaisa has been launched in Pakistan. Again it is a joint venture of Telenor and Tameer Micro Finance Bank. Through this service subscribers of Telenor will be able to transfer money anywhere in Pakistan. Off course between easypaisa account holders. Since its launch the service has been used extensively by the people and more will follow the trend as they come to know about its usefulness.

This is how it works:

  • A Telenor subscriber goes to easypaisa Franchise office and opens an account.
  • He/she gets a call from Telenor for verifying his/her credentials.
  • After the verfication the person visits nearest easypaisa outlet and pays the required amount to be credited to his account. Upon successful transanction he/she receives a confirmation SMS.
  • The user can now pay his/her utility bills, transfer money between easypaisa account holders, deposit cash, withdraw cash, get Mini account statement, schedule payments and transfer money between their Tameer Bank and Mobile account.

This is a great service which is ideally suited for the working class who live the 9 to 5 life, and is a big convenience for everyone in general. If I were to suggest these guys I would say include a service where people can even shop with their mobile phones using easy paisa and how about dinning out? If it can happen in other countries why not here? Off course this is not an impossibility, or is it?

The finer details can be read at the easypaisa website. There are other payment solutions coming soon according to the easypaisa website, which ones are these is not clear. I really hope other operators follow suit and give services to the people that are convenient and secure as well.

avatar2 James Cameroon probably hadn’t imagined the amount of attention and furor his movie Avatar would create. The movie that has already been nominated for 4 Golden Globes and some 9 other nominations, the movie that has spurred creation of an Avatar game for the iPhone has now finally culminated in the creation of a game for PCs.

The gamers are taken in to Pandora, an alien planet beyond anyone’s imagination. They encounter Na’vi people and countless unimaginable life forms. That is when they will find themselves fighting an alien species in an unknown land far away from anything conceivable. The graphics are simply awesome and the species well one has to see them to believe. Let me put it this way, “it is unlike anything you have ever seen before”.

The game is priced at around $46 and is available from Amazon. It is also available for PSP, PS3,Xbox 360 and the Nintendo.

It’s always a great idea to change the décor of your house to coincide with the changing seasons. The reason being that home décor that looks great in summer may not be suitable for winter. While a cool, airy look is preferred in summer, in winter, the need is to create a cozy feel with warm colors and fluffy fabrics. After all, what could be more wonderful than coming home to a warm, cozy setting when a cold, bitter wind is blowing outside and rain is pattering on the window panes? The best part is that changing the décor to suit the season doesn’t necessarily involve major changes like repainting the walls or getting new furniture. It can be done in very simple ways. Slide1What goes in must come out, and so it does except that some of it gets dissolved in to our tissues, and is converted in to body fat. So over the years various protrusions start appearing on one’s body in the shape of fat a belly, love handles or even big bottoms, not to mention other noteworthy parts :-) Loosing weight requires a lot of will power, efforts and time. Well in a way yes, but considering the fact that it has taken years to accumulate it will take years to dissolve, unless drastic measures are taken to melt it, or even go for a liposuction (only if you can afford it).
There comes a time in one’s life when a person starts to detest his/her appearance. Loosing weight doesn’t come easy, but I can assure you that if you follow the tips mentioned below you will end up loosing some if not all of your extra mass with little effort. This is purely based on personal experience and is guaranteed to work. You don’t need to kill yourself with a crash diet using this technique, nor walk your shoes off or even mountains of will power, just simple resolve to do it and some easy to follow steps. Read on for some doable steps:
  • Cut Down Your Sweet Intake. I am not saying you start using sweeteners, or give up sugar altogether. Just reduce your intake by 50%, if you take a cube/spoon of sugar with tea/coffee reduce it to half. If you drink a can of Pepsi start drinking half of it or better still go for a Diet Pepsi, same goes for ice cream. The biggest factor in gaining weight is always the sugary sweet things so by cutting down your intake by 50% you will subsequently reduce your fat accumulation process or even slow it down. This is the most important step so be sure to follow it strictly.
