Eid Shopping…. Charm or Chore?

OK so we’ve come down to the last ten rozas and we can now officially enter panic mode, especially those of us whose motto is ‘Why do today what you can do tomorrow?!’ and have therefore yet to finish or worse still, even begin their eid shopping. Is it just me or does everyone find it impossible to drag themselves to the bazaar in Ramadan? The persistent heat, grumbling stomachs and parched throats prevent you from going out before Iftar and bloated bellies swimming with a mixture of pakoras and lemonade are to blame after! Shop keepers this time around are complaining that the customer response is very poor.
