Smart phones now come with GPS devices for better navigation, however, most require a GPRS connection to download maps. This at times is not only slow but also costs money. Thankfully, other options exist using which one can download maps to his/her mobile device from the Internet for offline viewing. What this means is, you won’t have to pay for network charges at all!

The newest Blackberry Torch has just managed to hit the stores, and RIM announces to claim that this is the best Blackberry ever. Blackberry Torch is the first Blackberry with a touch screen, slide out keyboard, 3.2 inch touch screen, Blackberry OS6 along with the old email and messaging client. The Torch’s software also includes Visual Voicemail for quickly scanning messages, integration with social networks and downloadable apps. We are hoping that we will have more apps in the Blackberry World compatible to this device, making it more attractive for the users.
