Bank Alfalah F1 car spotted.. Participating in Asian formula Racing
Folks I just spotted this across Gulberg Main Boulevard in front of Bank Alfalah Ltd. Branch near Pace Lahore. This is first Pakistani sponsored Formula 1 car which is going to be racing in Asian Formula championship 2009. Official inauguration ceremony will take place in morning along with announcement about the driver.
However, news surfaced back in February that Adnan Sarwar is going to drive this car at Asian Formula racing championship. Lets see if this still holds true.The Asian Formula championship series of 7 races will be held in China and Malaysia, tracks used for these races will be the official tracks of Formula 1.
The car is a shiny new Navy blue with shinning yellow color, depicting the Bank Alfalah’s corporate brand. Under the hood there is a 2.0 liter Formula 1 engine and chassis from Renault.

This is an exciting prospect for racing in Pakistan, and Bank Alfalah is sponsoring the Pakistani racing squad and Driver Adnan Sarwar is a young start and hopes are high with him. Go Pakistan.
