Verizon’s iPhone 4 – A big question is should you go for it?

As most of you know that the hottest gadget in the market, iPhone 4 will soon be available on Verizon on February 10, just a few days from Valentine’s Day. Question is that should you go for it? Is it better than AT&T’s iPhone 4?  We can all see that the demand for the Verizon iPhone 4 comes down to only one thing, a major dissatisfaction of users with AT&T’s network. Dropped calls and sluggish data connection is a common problem on AT&T faced by everyone now, forcing people to look for better alternatives.

Although Verizon’s iPhone 4 is almost identical to AT&T’s version but it is said that it has an upgrade of iOS and supports CDMA network, rest everything feels and looks the same as in previous iPhone 4. Verizon’s network is wider with more consistent coverage, and superior voice quality. AT&T has its own advantages one of which includes the faster uploading and downloading of data which is not seen on Verizon presently.

The general hardware experience of this Verizon version is near identical to its sibling: same 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video capture, same WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, same choice of 16GB of 32GB of flash storage inside.

Current Verizon customers will be able to pre-order on February 3rd for the standard $200 price for the 16GB model on a two year agreement, $300 for the 32GB version, everyone else can order on February 10th. So which means you can get ready to order it now.

Also do remember that people who are going to go for Verizon’s iPhone 4 will enter into a 2 year agreement with Verizon which means that if we are expecting a new iPhone after 6 months, all those who go for this option will find themselves locked in the agreement. But right now buying iPhone 4 with a better carrier is what everybody is looking for. Choice is yours!
