Christmas and Holiday season is around the corner and this calls for taking some time out to find that perfect gift for a loved one. With so much happening year round making a decision on what to buy and what not is really difficult. Prices are expected to drop and this should be the best time of the year to buy stuff you have been dying to get your hands on whether for yourself or for someone close. eBook Reader. The top choices include Kindle from Amazon or Nook (expected on 4 Jan 2010) by Barnes and Noble. Both devices are small and svelte, which one to buy is a big question? Before going for a purchase read the comparison at Barnes and Noble. If you want a monochrome which is available right away go for Kindle , but id you want a colored screen eReader and are not in a hurry, then the Nook is for you. Both devices promise days of reading without recharge, the Nook costs a little more then the Kindle but has better features. -
HTC Hero. Google’s Android based smart phones are making headlines all around the world, after iPhone has got the competitor it had never imagined. The HTC Hero is a 3G device, with touch screen input. The screen size is 3.2” it has internal GPS, Bluetooth, 5 MP camera, Audio/Video player, Digital Compass, memory expansion via microSD card. Archos Internet Tablet. Initially launched in two flavors the Archos 5 and 7 the Archos is now available fro pre-order as Archos 9 in an up scaled version running on Windows 7. The Archos 9 is no less than a NetBook minus the keyboard since all Archos tablets are touch screen devices. The tablet is available between $240 and $ 280 for the Archos 5 and 7 versions respectively while the Archos 9 is for around $550.
