Skype for Symbian^3 is out now, so Nokia mobile phones models N8, C7 and C6-01 can now enjoy unlimited  free calls. Through Skype these cell phone owners will be able to chat or Nokia_N8 make voice calls over WiFi or 3G networks. Off course Skype to Skype calls are also included, besides Skype out. The application has added SILK codec support which lets helps in adapting to changing network conditions without compromising on voice quality. The application is available for download at the Skype website, for free as usual.

A word about the SILK codec, it is an advanced algorithm that helps in maintaining good voice quality under various network conditions. It aims and to provide good voice quality and actually it does achieve terrific results. Skype’s aim is to make the experience as close “the person sounds like they are in the room with me” as possible. For more details in to SILK read the Skype Blog.

Don’t waste your time – find something else
