The advert is showcased outside the theatre, and gives such an amazing look & feel of this new movie TRON from the eyes of Nokia N8, that people are almost fascinated to see it. Android OS sales on sharp rise in Europe, but can it sustain?

According to IDC , Google Android OS will surpass sales and market presence of both Nokia Symbian ( market leader ) and Apple’s iOS Smartphone platforms in year 2011 across Europe zone. This was told to bloomberg by IDC Analyst Jeronimo. Now this may hold true but it is yet to be seen how Nokia N8 will compete with Android based SmartPhones, furthermore, Microsoft is also going to compete heavily in European market with its Windows Phone 8 series Smartphones.

WordPress for Nokia out now

Nokia smart phones now have a Word Press application through which they can update their Blogs. The application was previously available for iPhone, Black Berry and Android devices. This comes at a time when the number of Word Press users who use mobile devices for blogging has hit an impressive 1 million. This only goes to show that more and people are now using smart phones for blogging. This is pure convenience, as these contraptions come with built in cameras and QWERTY keyboards, thus making them ideal platforms for instant blogging.

Nokia C7 sports Symbian 3, NFC chip, will function as Credit card!

Nokia has brought its second Symbian 3 SmartPhone dubbed as Nokia C7. It is a SmartPhone with 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen capable of displaying 360 x 640 pixels, 8mp Camera, TV Out, digital compass and GPS, WIFI, 3G HSPA, and 8 GB of internal storage. Certainly there is no direct comparison with Nokia N8 in term of features but what special about this phone is that it has built in NFC ( near field communication) chip, which will allow this mobile to function as a credit card capable of making payments on the go.
