Skype for iPad is Out today, Download Quickly!!

Today skype released an iPad-optimized version of their app. However, this new shouldn’t be too surprising, since the iPad got a camera; it was likely that we’d see some version built especially for the bigger tablet. According to Skype VP of Consumer and Product Design Rick Osterloh, it’s a solid release for the company, and yet another step out onto mobile devices for one of the premiere communication networks online. So enjoy Skype on your iPad.

In my opinion it is best Blackberry SmartPhone as it sports new BlackBerry OS 6.1 from RIM, high speed processor, high res display which is touch enabled, really good keyboard based on BB 9000.

Last night I was shopping in mobile market and while navigating through latest arrivals I spotted Nokia X3-02, later and saw it getting unboxed. I was lucky to handle and use it for brief moments and below are my first impressions and pricing in Pakistan and India.Check out the pictures after the break and click to view full size.

Wireless internet services competition is heating up in Pakistan with the latest contender Qubee launching their services, agaisnt already established competitors like Wi-Tribe and Wateen. Qubee claims that their prices are cheap and their plans are affordable, We’ll that maybe the case as evident from the comparison matrix below, however, their service is yet to be tested and ranked.

Connectify is an awesome application that turns a WiFi enabled laptop or a PC in to a Wireless Access Point. All that is required is a working Internet connection, doesn’t matter if it is an Ethernet based, cable modem, Dial-up or Cellular card based. The software works in Windows 7 platform only

Nokia X3-02:Touchscreen aluminum beauty with 3G/wifi for 161$

Nokia has just revealed its X3-02 handset, which has standard 16-button keypad with a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen, now that’s excellent news for budget market. It sports Nokia S40 on a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen, the X3-02 also has a numeric keypad, 3G and WiFi, and will launch in Q3 2010 priced at around €125 ($161).

India unveils cheap iPad style touch tablet which costs only 35$

Indian government shows of a prototype computer, which is an iPad like tablet at amazing cheap price of just 35$ or 23£. Production of these touch screen tablets will start in 2011. It supports features like word processing, web browsing and videoconferencing. The tablet doesn’t have a hard disk, but instead uses a 2 GB memory card, much like a mobile phone. Underlying OS will either be Linux or Android, and it will be able to connect to the internet over WiFi, open PDFs, and even play YouTube videos. Along with battery it will sport solar power charging feature.
