dell-logo Dell has launched  a bold and ambitious program for would be PC buyers. According to official sources any person buying a new Dell laptop like Inspiron 15 or 17 or even 546 will get Windows 7 pre-installed by Dell on is/her machine. This off course is being done at no additional cost. Dell aims to make it easier for the customers to switch over to the new OS and get on with their digital lives. These PCs already come loaded with Windows Vista and therefore the upgrade is for free and there are no hassled attached to it. Buyers can also opt to forego the Dell supervised installation upon which their machines will be shipped with un upgrade kit. This is generally meant for those (techies) who want to have a go at Windows 7 themselves. The machines will be shipped around 22nd October, let us see if it is worth the wait!
