Guess what? iphone 5 is real. After the new that hits the tech world this morning about two Taiwanese companies, Largan Precision and Genius Electronic, are said to producing 8-megapixel cameras for a new Apple device. For sure, it’s for iphone 5. So let’s wait and see.
It’s not a rumor anymore:
Digitimes which has a good track record of reporting about Apple products reports –
Taiwan-based Largan Precision currently sees 8-megapixel phone-use lens modules account for nearly 10% of its total lens module shipment volume, but it may see 8-megapixel modules replace 5-megapixel ones to become the mainstream for smartphones in the third quarter of 2011 due to possible orders from Apple, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
Apple relies on Largan Precision and Genius Electronic:
As usual Apple doesn’t make its own hardware; instead, it hires large third-party contractors, most of them based in the Far West, in order to produce certain parts and assemble the devices. Thus, it has been reported that Apple has hired those two companies to produce an 8-megapixel camera module for the iPhone 5, with a large order to be issued very soon.
8-megapixel camera is only one of the many components that will be found on the iPhone 5. According to reports over the last several months, the next iPhone will include a faster dual core A5 processor, similar to the one that ships with the iPad 2, as well as a possible dual-LED flash, making it easy for high-quality shots to be captured even in total darkness, along with a slightly larger screen.
iphone 5 ..we are waiting for you since long time!!
