pspgo thumb PSPgo is born, is it the ultimate gaming device? Gaming is not what it used to be, remember Pacman or even Dig Dug? Those were simple times and the games even simpler. Not anymore, now it takes a wad of Dollars or an unwilling swipe of your credit card to buy games in any form whether it is DVD, Blu-ray, cartridges , Game Boy, PSP and the list goes on and on. Sony has just released its PSPgo that is a little more than a gaming device, well it is more of an entertainment brick, shall we say. Imagine a PSP having 16 GB of storage to run movies and TV shows (on a 3.8” LCD screen), that’s PSPgo! Oodles of gaming and movie content is buried in the Playstation Network. The device connects to a Bluetooth headset to enjoy gaming experience or even talk to friends via Skype, phew there goes your mobile phone! This is a small unit that easily snuggles in your shirt pocket and has enough storage space for lots of movies and games. It is much smaller than the original PSP (43% to be exact) and the presence of a hard disc obviates the need of discs. PSPgo is available in Black and White colors and the retail price is $ 250.

  • For some reason I just don't see paying as much for a portable game console as a regular console. I know the market is for teens and college students...

My eyesight is not good enough to try and play something on a screen that small (we have a big screen tv at home to play on. I would have to have the screen so close to my face that people would make fun of me.

    Love, Sammie
  • Well yes size is an issue here, I believe the real fun still reside in the consoles which can work with TV's. I guess these consoles should have the feature to be connected with TV, that would be fun.

Or perhaps you should wait for upcoming touch screen tablets from Microsoft "Courier" and Apple. or may want to check this out
