If there is one thing that Facebook lacks in its applications lineup and services then it is voice chat, well, actually, no more. Very soon the social networking website is going to provide some 300 million of its registered users with (high quality) voice chat. the technology is being offered by Vivox a coming that has a loyal following of some 15 million users worldwide. users will have to download Vivox’s applet or plug-in for availing this facility. And by the way it is not only one-on-one chat it is poised to group chat as well. How many members at maximum is still not known. Non Facebook users will also be able to log in to to ongoing conversations vis free dial-in numbers that Vivox is planning to offer. Quite frankly this is yet another feather in Facebook’s cap.
