Facebook recently announced some changes which included TimeLine. It changes the main profile of users showing some featured posts and images etc. and also allowing the visitor and the profile holder to view the specific posts by clicking the month archive.
This new feature is currently available for developers only but it will soon be open to public. Today we will tell you how to enable the new timeline feature in Facebook.
Just follow the steps below to enable Facebook TimeLine
1. Log-in to your Facebook account
2. You must be a developer to currently able to use Facebook TimeLine feature.
3. Not a developer? No problem!, you can still use TimeLine
4. Just type developer in the search box of Facebook and click the developer app (it would have many thousand users)

5. Now, you would be taken to your developers account in Facebook. Click ‘Create a New App’. (Refer the image below)

6. A pop-up dialog box would appear requiring you to name the ‘App’ and’ App Namespace’. I used ‘Time Line’ for display Name and ‘ahmad_time_line’ for App NameSpace. (Your App NameSpace should be unique to be valid). Click ‘I agree’ button and click continue.

7. You would be taken to your apps basic settings tab. Click the open graph button in the left column.

8. Next you would be directed to Getting Started tab. Now you must add a function and its object to let the app run. I added ‘read a magazine’, and click get started. (Refer the Image)

9. In the next page, change the name of action type from ‘read’ to ‘readd’.

10. That’s all, click save at the bottom of the page and you are done.
11. Wait for couple of minutes and then go back to your normal Facebook view.
12. You would see a dialog box ‘Introducing TimeLine’. Click ‘Get it Now’.

13. You are now taken to your new Facebook TimeLine
